FAMILIES

Early childhood education is not about taking the place of parent's role of educating or nurturing their children. Parents are the first and most important teachers in their children's lives. It is about engaging and partnering with families and communities to ensure all children have access to high-quality experiences that set the stage for success in school and in life (www.naeyc.org).

Parent involvement helps extend teaching outside the classroom, creates a more positive experience for children and helps children perform better when they are in any type of child care or school system. It is essential for parents to support the learning that happens in these settings and at home as well. Parents who are in tune with what is happening in their child’s classroom program are better able to establish a connection between what is learned there and what takes place in the home (www.naeyc.org).

Sara Fink:

My son went here from 3 mo-22 Mo (until we transferred him to the daycare his brother goes to where you have to be 2 yr to attend). Leaving Nessa’s was heartbreaking. It felt like I was surrounded by family. I rarely left without a smile on my face or a hug (and some sugar for Elliot) from Nessa. I love how the children are given the opportunity to explore a natural play area and no weather prohibits outdoor play! If your kids doesnt need a bath every night they are going to the wrong day care! Love Nessa, Rayelle, Amber, Autumn, Becky, Alex, Dixie, and Kayla!!

We absolutely love it here! It is an amazing place where he is loved, safe and having a blast. I cannot thank Vanessa and her staff enough for all they have done for my little man.

Sunni Walker:

Our son has been at Nessa’s since he was four months old. It brings me great reassurance to see his face light up every morning when we arrive. There are times he is enjoying himself so much, he doesn’t want to go home at the end of the day! I believe Nessa and her staff have helped my son’s confidence, verbal skills, and overall development. Working full time is hard as a parent, so knowing my child is happy and well cared for during the day makes things easier. I’m deeply grateful for Nessa and her amazing staff. Highly recommend!

Tamara Denine:

We have been at Nessa's for a year. When starting this pre k program my daughter was very shy, didn't open up easy, very very bashful. I am a single mom and Vanessa has helped me learn more things about parenting from my 4 yr old's point of view.  I wish we would have gotten to Nessa's earlier.  I know that no matter where the world takes my daughter she will forever remember Nessa, Ray (pickle) Mrs Wanda Mrs Tyler.
