OUR MISSION is to:
-
nurture the very youngest of children in a safe, inspiring, and caring community while encouraging them to develop their curiosity, imagination and learning by exploring their world at their pace through natural play
-

-
meet each child’s individual needs while supporting each child’s culture, ethnicity, and family structure as we continually create a community of learning in which children, families, and our staff learn from each other
PHILOSOPHY
We believe children should be loved first and then taught. Our approach is a whole child approach, working to strengthen and encourage every child’s emotional, intellectual, social, and physical being through the care we provide and a unique partnership with their families.
We believe children learn from simple everyday adventures and experiences in the environment provided for them. They need to be allowed to be children and given opportunities to learn at their own pace while they explore “their world” sparked by their own curiosity with developmental and age appropriate activities to express themselves through their choices.
Natural Play Philosophy
We have developed a natural play philosophy that captures how well children learn through movement and doing, particularly in the natural world. The environment sparks their imagination and is naturally creative. They experiment with loose natural materials that are age and developmentally appropriate within a sensory, flexible, open-ended environment inside the classroom and outdoors, while supporting purposeful play through a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activity.
Teacher Promise
To be a teacher that inspires and nurtures the leaders of our society to be children who; experience the world freely, to be a child who is full of curiosity and full of desire to be a part of the world right from birth.
Our Goals
To continually create a community of learning in which children, families, and our staff learn from each other.
