Our preschool program is a combination of children ages 3-5 years old. We offer a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities as our teachers prepare children for school readiness. Our indoor activities typically include stories, music, construction play, art, dramatic play, as teachers encourage developmental skills as well as science, math, and social studies.  In this regard we are very similar to other types of preschools, though we usually incorporate natural themes and materials throughout their indoor activities. However, we are different because our program is not only extended into the outside area, our day is particulary designed to be outside for the whole day when possible. The children enjoy loosely-structured explorations in our Outdoor Learning Environment (OLE) which is more naturalistic in design than traditional play areas.  The children's own interests and discoveries guide these daily explorations, rather than any predetermined activity outlines or academic goals and objectives.
