INFANT & TODDLER PROGRAM
INFANT PROGRAM
Each area of learning is adapted to each child's level of readiness. In this center for ages 1-3 years old, there will be a written plan of activities based on observations by the early childhood educator of each child and as a group, but the day and the activities are led by the children's interests.
Child-paced learning
We understand that everything children take note of and want to do has value and is valuable to them. Young children need time to think, to repeat, to return to things and to come back later to something that has interest for them.
There are several learning nooks set up in our rooms where each child will have unlimited access to explore and learn at their own pace and with their own imagination. Indoors and outdoors,
children will be exposed to age appropriate activities that involve and develop their cognitive, large and small motor skills, language development, and emotional/social skills through sensory play.
